PURPOSE:To be able to solidify supercooled liquid voluntarily by a method wherein openings are bored at the projecting parts of a sealing bush and a hollow holder respectively and both openings are overlapped to connect the main container inside to the hollow holder inside and supercooled liquid as thermal accumulator is allowed to be in contact with a solid as thermal accumulator and then two openings are slid off to break their connection. CONSTITUTION:A hollow holder 5 is installed in a main container 1 through a sealing bush 3 and composed of a projecting part 6 in the outside of the main container and a projecting part 7 in the inside of the main container. A projecting part 4 of the bush 3 in the inside of the main container and the part 7 of the holder 5 in the inside of the main container are provided with openings 8, 9, respectively. Two openings 8, 9 are overlapped to connect the container 1 to the holder 5 and supercooled liquid as thermal accumulator L in the container 1 is allowed to be in contact with a solid S as thermal accumulator in the holder 5 to solidify the liquid L. After solidifying, two openings 8, 9 are slid off to break their connection. At the time of heat accumulation, one end of the holder 5 is projected outside the container 1 so as to keep the temp. of the end at the open air temp. and the thermal accumulator is enabled to be preserved at a solid state in the holder 5. |
