PURPOSE:To prevent the unwinding of a roving end, by holding a roving bobbin with a peg on a transporter and rotating the bobbin along the direction to wind a roving by a bobbin rotating apparatus while pressing the circumference of the wound roving of the bobbin with a pressing device. CONSTITUTION:In the transport of a roving bobbin, the posture of the bobbin is maintained by a peg 32 of a lifter 27 and, at the same time, the outer circumference of the wound roving of the bobbin is pressed with a pressing device 34. The roving bobbin is rotated along the direction to wind the roving with a bobbin-rotating apparatus 38 keeping the above state. A roving end of a roving bobbin doffed from a roving machine can be surely pressed against the wound roving. |
