<p>PURPOSE:To prevent shocks from being caused by causing the velocity of clutch release to be varied taking the current position of a clutch as a parameter, and then causing the velocity of clutch release within the range of a semi- engaged clutch where the disappearance of a transmission torque takes place at the time of the clutch release operation to be reduced. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle is in operation, signals from a clutch- engagement-quantity detecting means 7 are inputted into an electronic controller 8 so that the current positions of clutch are read. Then, according to said clutch current positions, the velocity of clutch release by means of a clutch actuator 6 is obtained from an established characteristic curve. Said velocity of clutch release is set up in such a manner that, when the clutch is in a semi-engaged state, it is kept at a low speed, while, when the clutch is in the neighborhood of its fully-engaged position and its fully-disengaged position, it is increased to a speed higher than that in the semi-engaged clutch range. And further, it is judged whether the current position of clutch is in its fully-disengaged position or not, and when judged as 'NO', the actuator 6 is controlled its operation according to the then velocity of clutch release. While, when judged as 'YES', the actuator 6 is caused to stop its operation.</p> |
