PURPOSE:To enable the skew of a rolling element to be inhibited from occurring by attaching a washer, which is provided with a wave-shaped irregularity on its surface contiguous to the end face of a rolling element, to a supporting-leg shaft which rotatively supports by means of numerous rolling elements a spherical roller being fitted in the track groove on an outer ring. CONSTITUTION:On the internal surface of an outer ring 10, on whose closed end is solidly provided the No.1 shaft 11, are provided at every equal angle three lines of track grooves 12 extended in the axial direction, and then, into said ring 10 is inserted a tripod member 13 having three pieces of cylindrical supporting-leg shaft 18. On the tripod member 13 is placed and fixed one end of the No.2 shaft 14. In addition, on each supporting-leg shaft 18 of the tripod member 13 is rotatively attached by means of numerous rolling elements 20 a spherical roller 19 which is fitted in the track grooves respectively. And hereupon, a washer 24, which is provided with a wave-shaped irregularity on its surface contiguous to the end face of the rolling elements 20, is attached to each supporting-leg shaft 18. Hereby, the skew of rolling elements, which has theretofore occurred at the time of power transmission when a coupling makes the angle of operation, can be inhibited from occurring. |
