PURPOSE:To obtain an ink sheet excellent in antistatic property, feedability and printing performance, by providing a film of an antistatic transparent synthetic resin coating material containing a solid electrolyte on at least one of the surface of a base and the surface of an ink layer. CONSTITUTION:An ink sheet 1A comprises a base 2, an ink layer 3, and a film 4 of an antistatic transparent synthetic resin coating material containing a solid electrolyte which film is provided on at least one of the surface of the base opposite to the ink layer side and the surface of the ink layer 3 opposite to the base side. Suitable examples of the solid electrolyte include alkali metal salts such as lithium perchlorate and lithium phosphate. It is suitable that the amount of the solid electrolyte added to the coating material is 0.1-30wt%, from the viewpoints of dispersibility and antistatic performance. It is suitable that the thickness of the film 4 is 0.1-2.0mum, from the viewpoints of antistatic property, thermal conductivity, printing performance or the like. The film or the coating material containing the solid electrolyte has excellent transparency and is electrically and thermally conductive, so that it is possible to cause the ink sheet to have an antistatic effect while maintaining the printing performance. |
