PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown of a sealing member, etc. by respectively providing the work chamber and sealing chamber of a piston inside the casing of a pressing cylinder and combining a feeding unit to the piston rod of the inside of the sealing chamber. CONSTITUTION:The bulkhead 11 provided with a sealing member 12 is provided on the casing of a pressing cylinder 3 and a piston work chamber A and sealing chamber B are respectively formed. The feeding unit 15 consisting of the flange type feeding part 17 fixed to a contactor 16 and piston rod 5 is incorporated inside the sealing chamber B. With this mechanism the current fed from the cylinder main body is passed to the rod 5 from the contactor 16 and the welding of the body 20 to be welded pressed between electrode tips 7, 8 is executed. Owing to the feeding contact face and sealing contact face being separated with a simple structure the breakdown of the sealing member is prevented and the durability of the pressing cylinder 3 is improved as well. |
