PURPOSE:To obtain an ink sheet having excellent feedability and printing performance, by incorporating a solid electrolyte into an ink layer. CONSTITUTION:An ink layer 3A of an ink sheet 1A comprises a solid electrolyte having excellent electrical conductivity and transparency. The solid electrolyte may be, for example, an alkali metal salt such as lithium perchlorate, lithium phosphate and lithium silicate, and it is suitable that the content of the solid electrolyte in the ink layer 3A is 0.1-30wt%, from the viewpoints of antistatic property, printing performance or the like. Since the solid electrolyte incorporated in the ink layer has excellent electrical conductivity and transparency, the electrical insulating property of the ink layer can be lowered without adversely affecting the hue or the like of the ink layer. Accordingly, static electricity is prevented from being generated on the ink sheet, and the ink sheet is prevented from being rolled or tucked up around a platen, a pinch roller or the like due to electrification. |
