The cover sheet (4) is adhered to the substrate sheet (1) to enclose the latter, its thickness being greatest on the one side of the substrate sheet. The substrate sheet is of glass of ceramic, whilst the cover sheet is of hard plastic moulded to enclose the substrate sheet to which it is adhered by glue. Alternatively, the cover sheet (4) is of metal and adhered or welded to the substrate sheet, the substrate sheet to be of glass or metal-reinforced plastic with the hard plastic cover sheet moulded to enclose it. The cover sheet may be of plastic, glass, ceramic or metal and adhered to the substrate sheet, or the substrate sheet is of unreinforced plastic with the cover sheet of a material with a different temp. expansion coefficient and moulded around or adhered to the substrate sheet. |
