An omnidirectionally tiltable, self-righting upright pillar of a road marker post, comprising a foot part, a middle part made of an elastomeric material, a rod element projecting freely upwards in the direction of the longitudinal centre axis of the middle part and also a tension spring embedded in the elastomeric material in the direction of the longitudinal centre axis of the middle part, is intended, after being subjected to impact, to move back aperiodically into its starting position again. To achieve this, the tension spring is biased in a known way and is embedded with its two ends in connection pieces which adjoin the end faces of the middle part and are made of a curable, unelastic material bonding with the material of the middle part, the connection pieces and the middle part forming a connecting piece, the one connection piece of which can be connected to the rod element and the other connection piece of which can be connected to the foot part, or the other connection piece of which continues into the foot part. <IMAGE> |
