PURPOSE:To contrive to improve adjustability to multi-color molding, to simplify facilities, to make the properties for affecting working environment and color changeover favorable and to enhance the quality at low cost by a method wherein talc- containing propylene resin pellets and colored masterbatch pellets are respectively metered and premixed before being charged to a molder. CONSTITUTION:Solid resin pellets 3, each of which is produced by adding talc to propylene resin and kneading them, are manufactured at a resin stock feeding facility 1. Solid high concentration colored masterbatch pellets, each of which is produced by kneading dry colorant with propylene resin or thermoplastic resin, which is the same kind as the propylene resin, are manufactured at a colorant feeding facility 2. The resin pellets 3 and the colored masterbatch pellets 4 are carried to a metering machine 6 provided at the upper part of a molder 5 so as to be calculated to realize the predetermined weight ratio and, after that, fully mixed with each other in a mixer 7. Both the pallets 3 and 4, which are introduced through a hopper 8 into the molder 5, are plasticized and kneaded with a screw 9 and further fully kneaded and dispersed with a static mixer nozzle so as to obtain a molded item with stable physical properties and tinting quality. |
