PURPOSE:To obtain an electrode for preventing corrosion having a long service life by forming an alumite film on the surface of an Al alloy material by anodic oxidation in an alkaline electrolytic bath. CONSTITUTION:An Al alloy material contg. an alloying element such as Si, Fe, Cu, Mn, Mg or Cr is immersed in an alkaline electrolytic bath and an alumite film of >=200mum thickness is formed on the surface by anodic oxidation to obtain an electrode for preventing corrosion. The shape of the electrode substrate is not especially restricted. In case of an electrode for concrete, the shape may be of a bar, a wire or a tube. |
