PURPOSE:To send out liquid by a method wherein a sollar heat collecting part is provided in an expanding and contracting vessel to heat the liquid in the vessel and the vessel is expanded and contracted by the change of a shape memory alloy in accordance with the change of temperature. CONSTITUTION:The pump 5 is provided with the expanding and contracting vessel 6, whose peripheral wall 6c is made of bellows-shaped shape memory alloy, and the sollar heat collecting section 7 provided on the upper surface of the pump. When the solar heat collecting section 7 receives the sunshine and water therein becomes hot-water, the vessel 6 is brought into expanded condition due to the deformation of the peripheral wall 6c consisting of the shape memory alloy and cool water flows into the vessel through an entrance port by the effect of a non-return valve 8. The shape memory alloy is contracted again by the inflow of the cool water and the vessel 6 is contracted again also and the water in the vessel 6 is pushed out of the outlet port of the vessel to the side of the heat collector by the effect of the non-return valve 9. |
