PURPOSE:To reduce the cut-off space of a filter device and to minimize the structure of said filter device by providing dielectric coaxial resonators at both sides of a signal transmission line and setting the open terminals of resonators of the n-th stage and and the (n+1)-th stage obliquely and opposite to each other to have a connection between both resonators by means of a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:Dielectric coaxial resonators 2 making use of resonance in a coaxial TEM mode are provided at both sides of a signal transmission line 1. At the same time, the open terminals of the resonators 2 of the n-th stage and the (n+1)-stage (n: a natural number) are set obliquely and opposite to each other. These open terminals are connected to each other with a capacitor. Then the capacitors of the first and the final stages are connected with an input connector 3 and an output connector 4 respectively. Thus, an unmatched state between both resonators 2 owing to an increment of distance between these resonators 2 is avoided and a cut-off space between both open terminals is reduced. As a result, a filter device can be miniaturized. |
