PURPOSE:To manufacture shperical anhydrous CaHPO4 having certain average roundness, a rate of liq. absorption, an angle of repose, a specific surface area and an average particle size each in a prescribed range by reacting a Ca compound with a phosphoric acid compound at a specified temp. or above in the presence of a condensation product of phosphoric acid. CONSTITUTION:A Ca compound such as milk of lime is reacted with an aqueous soln. of a phosphoric acid compound such as phosphoric acid at >=50 deg.C in the presence of a condensation product of phosphoric acid such as polyphosphoric acid or a salt thereof. By this method, spherical anhydrous CaHPO4 having 0.6-1.0 average roundness, 0.4-0.7ml/g rate of liq. absorption, 10-50 deg. angle of repose, 1-100m<2>/g specific surface area and 1-100mum average particle size can be manufactured. |
