PURPOSE:To give each individual the best driving position by adjusting the distance between the foot stepping pedal of a brake, etc., and a driver's seat by adjusting the position of the pedal. CONSTITUTION:An oblong groove 3c is formed in the upper part of a lower arm 3 in the lengthwise direction of the arm, a guide pin 6 is fitted in the oblong groove 3c, and a rotary disk 7 rotates concentrically and integrally with a lever support shaft 1. Then when the upper arm 2 is rotated by a worm gear 9, the lower arm 3 moves as shown by an imaginary line 3' and the pedal moves almost horizontally to 3'a by distance (d) as the groove 3c moves along the guide pin 6. Thus, a proper position in said interval is selected to obtain the best driving position. |
