PURPOSE:To obtain the toner which has a small particle size and is capable of forming an image having high image quality and resolution by incorporating a resin contg. a fluorine atom in the toner, and by specifying the particle size and the content of the particle to a prescribed value, thereby reducing a poor cleaning of the residual toner, without forming a toner film on a latent image supporter and a surface of the carrier. CONSTITUTION:The titled toner is formed by melting a mixture composed of a thermoplastic binder resin composed of the resin contg. the fluorine atom and the fluorine free resin, the coloring agent and another additives, followed by mixing, kneading and subsequently, by cooling, solidifying and milling the obtd. product, followed by classifying it. The titled toner has the weight average mean particle size of 3-5mum. The content of the toner particles having >=8mum particle size is <=5wt%. The number content of the toner particles having <2mum particle size is <=15%. |
