PURPOSE:To make it possible to install a fixing device close to a transferring section by making the length of an image forming face of a photosensitive body from the position of exposure to the position of transfer larger than the maximum length of a sheet for transferring. CONSTITUTION:The length from the position of exposure (a fiber unit 13) to the position of transfer (a transfer separation charger 23) is set larger than the largest size of recording paper to make transferring for one picture on a sheet of recording paper at a stretch by continuous driving of a photosensitive belt 15. Thereby, a part exposed and developed previously does not reach the charger 23 while exposing image of various designated areas on a copy picture face. Accordingly, transferring of one copy picture can be made at a stretch and transferred recording paper can be sent to a fixing drum 25 as it is. Therefore, it is not necessary to set a distance larger than the length in the direction of paper feeding of the largest recording size, and a fixing device 25 can be installed very close to the charger 23, and the length of the copying device can be shortened. |
