PURPOSE:To surely bond a sheet to the skirt of a projection under vacuum by a method wherein a plurality of minute holes are provided in the periphery of the skirt of a projection, which is formed on the surface of a matter to be bonded, so as to evacuate therethrough. CONSTITUTION:A matter to be bonded 27 is seated on a bearer 13 of a vacuum laminating device and a thermoplastic sheet to be bonded with 34 is heated with a heater 19. Next, after airtight chambers 35 and 36 are evacuated, the atmospheric air is introduced in the upper airtight chamber 35 so as to vacuum- laminate said sheet 34 onto the matter to be bonded 27. In addition, by evacuating through minute holes 39, which are provided in the periphery of the skirt of the projection 37 of the matter to be bonded, and through vacuum holes 29, which are provided on the bearer at positions coincicing with the minute holes 39, the pressure in a space S around the skirt is reduced, resulting in heat-sealing by tightly contacting the sheet 34a near the skirt with the projection 37. Thus, a sure heat sealing can be realized without producing, air gaps around the projection. |
