Mechanical device allowing a bicycle to be propelled at an increased velocity for a reduced effort. The mechanical device, in its design and its application, exhibits a novel feature allowing a bicycle to be propelled at an increased velocity for a reduced effort. This device is characterised by the presence and assembly of moving masses 3 moving in their guide 4 thus making it possible to obtain the advantages of centrifugal force.
