The system comprises, for each ship fitted with said system, an emitter (1) which emits repetitively the geographical coordinates, the speed and the course of its own ship, and a receiver (5) transmitting to a display unit (7, 8) the homologous information received from other ships. This information received is displayed, most of it in the form of symbols, on the panoramic screen (8) of the display unit.
