The invention relates to an improvement to the load-bearing structures of the patent application filed in France. The load-bearing structure 1 is formed by an assembly of juxtaposed structural elements 3 intended to form a support framework for the roof, the external wall and the floor. According to the invention, the structural elements 3 have flexible connection means 4 which, in the stretched position, fix the relative positioning of the said structural elements 3. The flexible connection means 4 are, for example, in the form of articulated members.
