PURPOSE:To permit a combustion apparatus to be stopped when the content of an EPROM is changed, by a method wherein the total sum of the contents of the EPROM is obtained during the operation of the combustion apparatus and is compared with an initial value. CONSTITUTION:An input and output circuit 23 is connected to a control unit 22, constituted of a micro-computer, while the control unit 22 is connected to an EPROM 21. Necessary combustion program and data are writen previously into an area from an address 0 to the address (n) in the EPROM 21 through the control unit 22. Combustion is effected by a method wherein, the combustion program in the EPROM 21 is read by the control unit 22 to operate the input and output circuit 23 and regulate the opening degree of a solenoid valve 25 based on the program. When the new content of an accumulator is zero, it is decided that the contents of the addresses 0-(n) are the same as writen already and they are not changed, therefore, the combustion is returned to the combustion program. When said content is not zero, it is decided that the contents of the addresses 0-(n) are changed, therefore, a command to close the solenoid valve 25 fully is outputted and the combustion in a burner 26 is stopped. |
