<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an economical miniature power converter for vehicles, by connecting an initial charging circuit to a filter condenser. CONSTITUTION:Before an input breaker 3 is cast, a filter condenser 8 is charged by an initial charging circuit 12. On the initial charging circuit 12, a DC control power source 13 is insulated from the filter condenser 8 with an insulating transformer 15. After the charge voltage of the filter condenser 8 uses up to trolley voltage, a power converterf 9 is operated by casting the input breaker 3. As a result, a large resistor or the thyristor of large capacity is not required to be used, and an economical miniature power converter for vehicles is obtained.</p> |
