<p>PURPOSE:To perform stabilized power supply control, by monitoring the actuation signal of each section in an automatic voltage regulator and by changing over to another automatic voltage regulator standing by in abnormality e.g. in failure, etc. CONSTITUTION:Automatic voltage regulators 12 and 13 of systems A and B are respectively composed of instrumental converters 3A and 3B, voltage deviation detection circuits 4A and 4B, ignition units 5A and 5B and rectifiers 6A and 6B. A monitor 9 monitors actuating condition of each hardware section in automatic voltage regulators 12 and 13 of systems A and B, while it connects a change-over switch 25 to system A side or system B side. When the voltage regulation is performed by an automatic voltage regulator 12 of system A, if the difference between the monitor signal of the automatic voltage regulator 12 of system A and the preset reference signal becomes more than the set value, the change-over switch 25 is changed over to system B side, so that an automatic voltage regulator 13 of system B is caused to actuate and the failure signal is given to an indicator 10.</p> |
