The invention relates to a connector for multi-coaxial cables, made up in the form of strands or ribbons, having insulation-displacement contacts. This connector is essentially made up of a conducting receptacle (case) 1 including an insulation-displacement device 2 for connecting to the screening braid 3b and an insulation-displacement device 5 for connecting the central conductor 3a combined with a part 6 which can be plugged in. The assembly is overmoulded in an insulating material 7 before fitting into a casing 8 which provides for the screening of the assembly. Applications: data processing, transmission. <IMAGE>
