PURPOSE:To simplify a constant current circuit by using a voltage comparator and a current detection resistance respectively in common for the coils of each phase of a stepping motor. CONSTITUTION:Series circuits of current control switches 35-38, coils 31-34 of each phase and current supply switches 39-42 are respectively connected in parallel and through a current detection resistance 43 connected to power source. The current detection value from the current detection resistance 43 is compared with reference voltage V0 by a voltage comparator 30. In answer to the result of this comparison by ON/OFF controlling the current control switches 35-38, the constant current is caused to flow to each coil 31-34. |
