<p>PURPOSE:To load a tape cassette of different size to a prescribed position of a magnetic recording and reproducing device without using any adaptor by providing at least two insertion port cover member blinders. CONSTITUTION:When a small-sized cassette is inserted to a position of a main blinder 38, the main blinder 38 is opened against force of a spring 39 while being pushed by the small-sized cassette. However, a subblinder 30 is not opened because a pawl 22 of a blinder support member 21 and an engagement part 31 of the subblinder 30 are engaged with each other. Thus, the small-sized cassette is loaded correctly at a prescribed position in a holder. Furthermore, when a large-sized cassette is inserted, since a bottom face of the large-sized cassette turns a cassette detection member 24 downward against the force of a spring 25, the engagement between the claw 22 and the engagement part 31 is released and the sub blinder is pushed by the large-sized cassette and opened against the force of a spring 33 and the large-sized cassette is inserted to the holder.</p> |
