A fastening of a covering cap (5) of an electric installation on a substructure exhibits a spacer piece (6), which is fastened on the substructure, and a bolt (21) which passes through the covering cap and is fastened on the intermediate piece. The bolt end (25) is pointed and, owing to two opposite incisions, which can not be seen in the Figure belonging to this abstract, is configured as a double hook which, in its latching position, is latched in the spacer piece (6) behind two opposite lugs (16) which can bend out flexibly. Between the two incisions, an edge (26) runs over the bolt end (25), on the central longitudinal section of the bolt (21). The bolt can be demounted by being turned, by means of a screwdriver, through 90 DEG with respect to the latching position. On mounting, it usually turns of its own accord into the latching position if it is driven in loosely. The punched edge, running over the bolt end, reduces, to the smallest possible extent, the probability of the bolt making contact in the dead centre position and not turning into the latching position. <IMAGE>
