The invention relates to a bullet-resistant-glazing frame (1) of a window F, into which frame a pane (3) of bulletproof glass is introduced and which is provided on the outer side with a bullet-resistant covering (5, 5'). In said frame, the edge of the glass pane (3) is bordered by a bullet-resistant bearing rail (11), e.g. consisting of high-carbon steel; moreover, the bearing rail (11) is provided, on one or both sides of the glass pane (3), with an intercepting chamber (14) which is formed by an angular bent-off portion (13) and is intended for bullets or fragments which have penetrated. This configuration avoids the edge of the glass pane (3) being destroyed, by bullets penetrating into the glazing region, and fragments being able to escape behind the glass pane (3). Rather, the bullets and fragments are intercepted, with the result that safety is further increased. <IMAGE>
