摘要 In the case of a contact system for an electrical gas-blast circuit breaker, erosion can occur at the coupling points (8) of the ends of the contact fingers (4) facing a switching element (2) during the switching operations, as a result of an arc being struck. In the switched-on stage, the current must flow via these points (8) which can be influenced by erosion. Under specific operational conditions, this can lead to an adverse effect on the contact properties. In order to avoid this problem, in each case one additional coupling point (9) is arranged on the contact fingers between the coupling points (8) and further coupling points (7) which face a second switching element (1), such that the distance (A) of the additional coupling point (9) from the coupling point (8) which can be influenced by erosion is somewhat larger than the isolating path (T). The additional coupling points (9) are thus not influenced by an arc occurring during a switching operation. Two coupling points (7, 9) are thus available on each contact finger (4) for the current flow, which coupling points remain free of erosion and thus always ensure optimum contact conditions. <IMAGE>
