PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition containing a specific phenoxy compound and a specific carbamate compound as main active components, effective in selectively exterminating broad-leaved weeds and narrow-leaved weeds at a low rate of application and free from phytotoxicity to useful crops especially e.g. rice, corn, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains, as main active components, (A) a phenoxy compound of formula I {X is Cl or CF3; Y is Cl or CH3; Z is <=4C bivalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group; R<1> is H, <=4C saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group, phenyl, etc.; R<2> is OR<3> [R<3> is (substituted) <=15C aliphatic hydrocarbon group, (substituted) phenyl, etc.] or group of formula II (R<4> and R<5> are H, <=6C saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group, etc.); R<6> together with R<1> forms the group of formula III or formula IV; n is 0-2} and (B) a carbamate compound of formula V [R<7> and R<8> are H, <=4C saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group, etc.; R<9> is <=4C saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group or group of formula VI (W is halogen; m is 0-4); Q is O or S]. EFFECT:Low toxicity to animal and fish. |
