A spray device connected to a pressurised-water line is provided with a mixing device consisting of an operating valve, a supply vessel for active agent and a volume meterer and with a nozzle. To provide a high-power, easy-to-handle spray device with which the media to be sprayed can be produced in accurate and reproducible concentration and can be uniformly and intensively atomised and in which the active agent can be rapidly and simply replenished, a mixing tube (42) which is connected to a pressurised-water line (13) and is equipped with an operating valve (2) arranged upstream, a pipe disconnector (25), a non-return valve (50) and a spray nozzle (60) disposed downstream, with drip prevention, is connected, via a discharge line (27) and a feed line (46), to a pressure transformer (30) which is acted on, via the discharge line (27), with pressurised water which transports active agent disposed in the supply vessel (34) formed by the pressure-increase side of the pressure transformer (30), via the feed line (46), into the mixing pipe (42), an adjustable volume metering device (72) or volume meterer (35) into the discharge line (27) or into the feed line (46) being provided. <IMAGE>
