PURPOSE:To prevent the title detector from producing biting wind noise even in high speed operation, by smoothing the outer surface of a ringshaped rotor secured to a rotating shaft. CONSTITUTION:A rotor (b) is formed ring-shapedly and a smooth magnetized section b1 is formed on its outside circumferential surface. For the whole circum ference of the magnetized section b1 an equal spaced pulse-like position detecting pattern and a mark to indicate the initial position are formed by magnetization. By fixing this rotor (b) to the rotating shaft(a), less portion stands against the air even in high speed rotation of the shaft (a), no biting wind noise is produced in high speed rotation contrary to the conventional rotor formed in gear and the rotor (b) is formed in ring, so that the rotor can withstand large centrifugal force even if the shaft (a) rotates at high speed. |
