PURPOSE:To control temperature rise and drop at the time of the operation and the shutdown of a gas turbine to prevent its heat cycle fatigue by supplying heated air into the gas turbine in such condition as it has been tightly closed after its shutdown. CONSTITUTION:Each of shutoff dampers 6, 7 is opened, and on the other hand, each of separation valves 3, 5 is closed in starting a gas turbine 13 and thereafter during its operation. After the shutdown of the gas turbine 13, each of the shutoff dampers 6, 7 is closed, and the gas turbine 13 is thereby tightly shut to prevent its heat release, and is fed with air 26 by a blower 1, and moreover heated by a heater 2. In this case, an air 26 is discharged through a bypass valve 4 into an atmosphere 25 until the air 26 reaches a fixed temperature. When the air 26 has reached the said temperature, the bypass valve 4 is closed, and on the other hand, each of the separation valves 3, 5 is opened to supply a high temperature air 27 into a combustor 12 and the gas turbine 13. Temperature drop occurring in the gas turbine 13 can thus be controlled.
