PURPOSE:To stop papers sent out to the upside of an insert plate by rightly contacting the paper with the front touch piece by providing an air port through which papers are sucked or floated, leading to an air source, in the rear side of a paper holder moving back and forth following the front touch piece for registering papers on the front end of the insert plate. CONSTITUTION:Papers 11 from a paper supplier are sent onto an insert plate 13, where a suction plate 22 is retracted, the front end of the papers is contacted with a paper touch piece 23. At the same time, the suction plate 22 begins to go forward by rotation of an arm shaft 20, air is sucked through a suction port 28 by switching a switch valve 26, paper 11 is adsorbed and advanced with slow speeds, the front end of paper is contacted with the front touch piece 26 and advanced, and the paper 11 is slipped and registered at the front touch piece. When the advancement of the suction plate 22 is ended, the paper 11 is grasped by the claw of a swing device and fed to the printer. During the feeding period, the suction plate 22 begins to retract, but the valve 26 is switched and air is blown out from the suction port 28 to float the paper 11. Therefore, even when paper is curled, register arrangement can be exactly made to prevent failure of registering. |
