PURPOSE:To enable to easily confirm the number of sheets printed when said number is different for different destinations, by a method wherein counting means are provided for each partitioned destination of a paper outputted, and a counted value is outputted on completion of a printing job. CONSTITUTION:A printing-controlling information is fed from a printer-side CPU 106 to a printing part 114, a printed matter 116 printed at the printing part 114 is transferred to a sorter 200, and a CPU 202 for controlling the sorter 200 is provided with a transfer destination controlling information. In accordance with the transfer destination controlling information, the CPU 202 controls the destination of each bin 220 of the sorter 200, while a count memory 204 counts up a count memory part corresponding to the destination of the bin, feeds back a counted value to the CPU 106, and the counted value is displayed on respective display devices 224 through an output port 212 and a display device driver 214. Accordingly, the number of sheet outputted can be controlled for each containing part. |
