PURPOSE:To make the head matching property of the title material good and besides, to prevent the fading of a printing part due to water dipping and oil adhesion and make the water resistance and the oil resistance thereof better, by laminating a first protecting layer, a second protecting layer, and a matching improving layer on a low temperature coloring layer in at order. CONSTITUTION:A first protecting layer, a second protecting layer, and a matching improving layer are laminated in at order on a low temperature coloring layer included in a two color thermal recording material where on a support material, a high temperature coloring layer, a decoloring layer, and the low temperature coloring layer are laminated in that order. Water soluble resin and silica should be preferably used as the first protecting layer and the second protecting layer. Polyvinyl alcohol, hydroxyethyl cellulose, etc. as the water soluble resin and the silica of 40-50m<2>/g in specific surface area and 160-170ml/100g in oil absorption amount as the silica should be preferably used. Further, water soluble resin, silica, and filler are used as the constituent forming the matching layer. As the water soluble resin and the silica, those used in the first and the second protecting layers are applied and as the filler, calcium carbonate, kaolinite, aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, etc. are used. |
