PURPOSE:To improve sealing storage properties of a captioned cell by allowing a sealing agent made of a mixture of a petroleum anticorrosive, high boiling point oil, and lamp oil or light oil to intervene between a sealing body and a positive electrode terminal plate. CONSTITUTION:An opening part of a zinc can 1 into which a separator 2, bottom paper 3, a positive electode agent 4, an electrolyte, upper cover paper 5, and a carbon rod 6 are sealed with a synthetic resin made sealing body 7 provided with a transparent hole through the center of which the carbon rod 6 penetrates. Then, a sealing agent 15 is applied on the upper surface of the sealing body 7, a negative electrode terminal plate 9 and an insulating ring 10 are arranged on the lower part of the can 1, and the upper surface of the sealing body 7 and the outer periphery of the can 1 are coated with a heat-shrinkable resin tube while heating it 8 to permit it to shrink. Successively, a positive electrode terminal plate 11 is fitted to said tube, and the outer peripheral edge part of the terminal plate 11 is tightened by means of a metal-sheathed can 13 via the insulating ring 12. For the sealing agent 15 one having a composition of 20-32wt% of the petroleum anticorrosive, 20-50wt% of the boiling point oil, and 30-48wt% of lamp oil or light oil is used. In this way, it is possible to improve sealing and storage properties. |
