PURPOSE:To increase the optical speed of response by applying a fixed voltage to an auxiliary electrode during non-reading period. CONSTITUTION:Voltage having the same polarity as bias voltage and the absolute value smaller than bias voltage is applied to an auxiliary electrode laminated for stabilizing an output and facing a main electrode through an insulating film, etc. in a light-receiving region for a desired period during non-reading period. Accordingly, an output for immediately preceding reading is erased, and the next reading can be conducted, thus increasing the optical speed of response, then acquiring the output correctly corresponding to incident beams. |
