PURPOSE:To improve the mechanical strength of a porous electrode plate, by arranging longer fibers on the flat plane of the porous electrode plate. CONSTITUTION:At the plane 1c of a porous electrode plate 1, long fibers longer than the length to stride over between the projection lines 1a, a carbonic long fiber 2, for example, are arranged. Since the carbonic long fibers 2 longer than the length to stride over between the projection lines 1a are furnished on the plane 1c in such a way, porous electrode plates for a fuel cell with an improved mechanical strength can be obtained. |
