PURPOSE:To prevent the moisture in the air chamber exhaust gas from condensing in the cell and in the cell outlet, by furnishing a common duct at the exhaust gas outlet in the cell air chamber, and keeping warm the common duct with the anolyte. CONSTITUTION:The air is distributed by a blower 7 through a common air feeding duct 8 to the air chambers, and the exhaust gas is collected in a common exhaust duct 9 and then exhausted outward. The common exhaust duct 9 is arranged to be in contact with an anolyte tank 10 each other, and the exhaust gas is exhausted through the common exhaust duct 9 which is kept at the anolyte temperature. Since the anolyte temperature is almost equal to the temperature of the cell main body in the cell operation, the temperature of the exhaust gas released from each air chamber to the common exhaust duct 9 never goes down below the dew point, and a dew condensation and the air flow disturbance therefrom at the air chamber outlet can be prevented. |
