PURPOSE:To obtain simply a drink containing an extract of a guarana, having good palatability of improved taste, by immersing seed of a guarana in an drinkable alcohol, preparing a drink containing the extracted solution of it as one component. CONSTITUTION:Seed of a guarana is immersed in a drinkable alcohol. The extract of the seed of guarana is sufficiently dissolved in the alcohol, the alcohol containing the extract of guarana is directly used as one component, and blended with a main component consisting of water, a sweetener, etc., to prepare a drink. The amount of guarana immersed in the alcohol is >=0.3g, preferably >=0.7g based on 100cc alcohol, and the concentration of the alcohol containing the extract of guarana is >=0.5wt%, preferably about 1wt%, and natural syrup (condensed to 60wt% concentration) contains 2-8cc of it in 100cc drink.
