<p>PURPOSE:To input two kinds of different data of a graphic and a non-graphic by one coordinate input device, by deciding whether an input has been executed with a finger or with a pen, and switching automatically a graphic input processing and a key code input processing. CONSTITUTION:A detecting means 1 detects a fact that coordinate points of a prescribed number or more, which have been determined in advance have been depressed simultaneously. A discriminating means 2 discriminates whether input information by the depression is a graphic coordinate input or a key data input. An output means 3 selects and outputs one of coordinate information or a key data corresponding to the depressed coordinate point in accordance with a discrimination of the discriminating means 2. In this way, two kinds of different data of a graphic and a non-graphic can be inputted by one coordinate input device without using two kinds of input devices, and expenses to be borne are reduced.</p> |
