This seat comprises lateral supports 6 which slide on longitudinal slideways 5, which are possibly inclined and fixed to the floor P of the vehicle. These supports carry the base of the backrest 2. The seat cushion 4 is articulated to the floor P by oscillating arms 13, 14 so as to rise up at the rear when it moves forwards. These movements are controlled by journals 20 securely fastened to the seat cushion, which slide in curved slots 19 formed in the lateral supports 6. The angle of intersection between the arm 14 and the slot 19 is different from zero in each of the positions, so as to oppose any untimely movement of the seat under the effect of the weight of the occupant. <IMAGE> |
