The present invention relates to the processes for producing belts having a reinforcement member. The process is essentially characterised in that it consists, starting from a filament comprising a central core coated with a sheath, in winding the filament, with touching turns, on drum means, in order to produce a uniform winding having the shape and thickness of the belt desired, then in solidly joining the turns together by means of their touching walls. Application, especially, to the production of conveyor belts for full-scale wind tunnels 1 for the motor-vehicle industry or for reduced-scale wind tunnels for the aviation industry.
