Device relating to an anti-theft device for a motor vehicle consisting in setting up a code allowing the vehicle to be started up and kept running. The code may be set up by means of a code display circuit, of a coded cassette introduced into the car radio-cassette, of a frequency specified by displaying hearing of a selected emitter.
