In a kneading machine for food products, the kneading member 6 is fork-shaped and is supported by an auxiliary supporting structure so that it can rotate. The auxiliary supporting structure includes an arm 4 which projects, in a substantially radial direction, from a vertical shaft 2 arranged in the centre of the kneading vessel 7 and which forms part of the stationary supporting structure of the vessel. The angle formed between the axis of rotation X-X of the kneading member and the vertical Z-Z is substantially smaller than 60 degrees and is adjustable. <IMAGE>
