The subject of the invention relates to a muscle-powered tool with power multiplication for the cold processing of metals by a succession of impacts. It consists, firstly of the combination of a straight, preferably cylindrical metal rod 1, then of a free sliding mass 5 provided with a fixed pulling handle 6 and finally of the positioning, at one end of the rod, of a hook 4 and, at the other end of an anvil 3 securely fastened to the manoeuvring handle 2 and forming an end-of-travel stop storing the power received in order to transmit it to the hook. It is intended for straightening out automobile bodywork elements and can be used for straightening out deformed components using traction, but also being able to be used for pushing or perforating. <IMAGE>
