Fluid transmission with primary working cylinders (1, 2) and secondary working cylinders (3, 4) in which are arranged working pistons (6, 7, 8, 9) that effect translatory movements. The working cylinders are connected in pairs via pressure lines (10, 11). Associated with the working cylinders (6, 7) is a gear system (17) for converting rotational movement into translatory movement. The gear system consists essentially of partly-toothed gears (19, 20) on a drive shaft (18) ring gears (21, 22) meshing with the gears (19, 20) and screw drives (23, 24). The gears (19, 20) mesh alternately with the relevant ring gears (21, 22), so that the working pistons (6, 7) are raised alternately to the top dead point. Since the effective working surfaces of the primary working pistons (6, 7) are smaller than the effective working surfaces of the secondary working pistons, (8, 9), a corresponding multiplication is achieved of the forces transmitted. |
