A crab trap (10) which has a perimeter base frame (11) and a netting sleeve (9) secured about the base frame (11). The netting sleeve (9) is provided with drawstrings (13/17) at each end. The lower drawstring (17) draws in the lower portion of the sleeve to form the base wall (8) of the trap (10) while the upper portion of the sleeve (9) may be drawn in about a collapsible supporting member (15) to form an enclosure above the base wall (8). Inlets (20) are provided in the enclosure. |
